Blogging for a plus size audience

When I started blogging back in 2004 there where very few blogs that dealt with anything related to plus size fashion or anything else for that matter.  There where a few blogs like Big Fat Blog that where making waves in the size acceptance category but that was about it.  Needless to say when I started Full Figure Plus I didn’t have much to draw from other than my own passion for spreading the word about plus size clothing and lingerie.

Fast forward to 2007 and there are new blogs and websites coming online everyday.  I was excited when the About Curves blog came about as a companion to the lingerie site.  My own experiment with doing a blog dedicated to lingerie only didn’t fair so well so all lingerie items are now a part of Full Figure Plus.

I knew that this day would come and that there would be just as many great blogs like this one Plus size clothing scoop, Deluxe Grrl and the Plus size fashion guide to show that there is diversity in the world of plus sizes.

As a man I am still somewhat of an oddball, but I have been at it for all these years and will be doing the same thing from here on out.

My hopes are that as time goes on there will be more blogs to come online for plus size men and women showcases different areas that so desperately need to be addressed.
