Happy Valentine’s Day!

I am so excited about the group of authors we found to write on the blog- we have a great mix of ages, jobs, sizes, and even gender!  I’m happy to debut them on Valentine’s Day and show some About Curves love.  How are you celebrating Valentine’s Day?  Here are my plans…

Tonight, my boyfriend and I are hosting a wine and cheese party for all of our friends and loved ones.  It’s always difficult to know what to do for Valentine’s Day- I want to share my love, but I don’t want to get carried away with a holiday that’s been taken over by greeting card and chocolate companies, you know?  Plus, going out to dinner on V-Day means twice as much money and twice the wait.  And I remember how much I hated hated hated V-Day when I was single, so I also wanted a way to include our single friends.  I’m excited to share a special occasion with them, laughing, drinking wine, and eating many different kinds of cheese- yum!  We’re also going to have some kind of meat, and I’ve been searching for a good slow cooker recipe for meatballs, since we’ll both be at work all day, but I haven’t found the perfect one.
